INGREDIENTS:

  • 3tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 3-4 tbsp Hot Boss Smokey Hot Sauce
  • 100g prawn
  • ½ avocado
  • Handful cherry tomatoes
  • Handful of iceberg lettuce
  • Lemon
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Paprika to garnish

METHOD:

  1. Prepare the Prawns:In a bowl, combine the Smokey Hot Sauce, mayonnaise, pinch of salt, and a grind or two of black pepper.
  2. Mix well until smooth. Add the prawns to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the sauce mixture.
  3. Let them marinate for about 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavours.
  4. Prepare the Salad Mix:In a separate large bowl, toss together the shredded iceberg lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced avocado.
  5. Squeeze the lemon juice over the salad mix and toss gently to combine.
  6. Add a couple of dashes of hot sauce for an extra kick.
  7. Assemble the Salad:On a serving platter or individual plates, layer the salad mix as the base.
  8. Arrange the marinated prawns on top of the salad bed.
  9. Garnish and Serve:Sprinkle the assembled salad with a final touch of paprika for colour and flavour
  10. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro leaves for added freshness and vibrancy.
  11. Serve Immediately:Serve the prawn salad immediately, allowing guests to enjoy the combination of flavours and textures.
